Are you ready to create goals for summer but don’t know where to start?

Okay so I don’t know if you already started, but NOW is the perfect time to create your summer goals! Summer is the perfect time to reset and reflect on the past few months while setting goals that you actually look forward to accomplishing.

Summer goals are the perfect because you can make them so they can adapt to your lifestyle. You don’t have to be in one place to accomplish them. Feel free to get creative in the things you do, try something new and have fun with them!

This post is all about summer goals.

1. Move Your Body

Commit to moving your body at least 3 times a week. Start small and progress from there. Movement gives you a boost of endorphins and motivates you to keep going throughout the day and stay consistent!

Take advantage of the beautiful summer weather and commit to incorporating some type of movement into your daily routine. This can be as easy as going for a walk or run, hike or hitting the gym.

Who doesn’t want to look and feel good all summer?! It’s the perfect way to start your day or end your night.

Nothing says summer more than a sunrise hike, a sunset walk on the beach or your favorite walking trail. Try taking your workout outside and enjoy the sun!

2. Declutter Your Space

After a few months of throwing things wherever, take the time to declutter your space. This will help clear your mind and help you take inventory of your empties. This gives you another reason to go shopping and restock, so win-win.

If you are looking to double your storage space, these Double Sliding Cabinet Organizer Drawers are lifesavers when I’m organizing my hair and makeup products.

I love how easily I can see the products I’m storing and the basket design allows my makeup products to breathe. These fit perfectly underneath the sink and even in your refrigerator.

I know the kitchen and pantry are always the first places to get messy and unorganized in a matter of days. I live in a small apartment without a kitchen but so I had to get creative with how I stayed organized.

3. Cook More Meals

Summer is the perfect time to get creative in the kitchen. Head over to your local grocery store or farmers market to pick up your seasonal vegetables like bell peppers, zucchini and corn and your favorite seasonal fruits like peaches, apricots, strawberries and passion fruit.

When you are cooking your meals make sure to have a balance of protein, healthy carbs and fats and a ton of veggies. Feel free to add your own seasonings and spices to make it taste just the way you like.

This way you’ll be cutting a ton of excess sodium and it’ll taste even better than the restaurant!

When you don’t feel like turning on the oven, an airfryer is the perfect alternative!

Air frying should be your BFF too! No one likes a hot house during the summer (it’s already hot enough outside).

I’ve had this air fryer for almost a year and I love it! I use her 3-4 times a week and she gets the time done.

She’s perfect for anyone that cooks a lot of single meals or doesn’t want a huge air fryer.

4. Drink More Water

Summer is THEE time to drink more water because our bodies need to stay hydrated after spending a ton of time outside.

If you’re someone that struggles to drink water, try drinking from a pretty water bottle! You have to find a cup that makes you excited to drink from it!

This bottle keeps me motivated to drink water all day! I fill this water bottle up when I wake up and make sure to to try on track throughout the day.

For the homebody: these trendy cups are SO cute! These are perfect for people that work from home *adds to cart.

If you think plain water is boring, try adding lemon and cucumber or a combination of your favorite berries. Get your hands on these before they sell out!

5. Read 1 Book

Summer is the perfect time to dig into your favorite book. I feel like it’s a good way to unwind and escape life.

Make sure that you are taking time each day to do this so you can accomplish your goal. This can be at least 10 or 20 minutes each day.

Feel free to read at the beach, park, while you are traveling or even at your favorite coffee shop. I used to not be a huge fan of reading and it’s slowly growing on me.

If you don’t know where to start, here are a few recommendations in no particular order!

My boyfriend’s mom sent me this book about a year ago and I love it. Although I haven’t finished it yet, it’s a good read and very easy to follow.

As someone who didn’t know anything about boundaries, this book was super eye opening and I look forward to reading it.

If you are on your self help era, Atomic Habits is IT! He teaches you the “why” behind habits and helps you find a way to build habits that work for YOU!

I can’t recommend this book enough!

I can’t recommend Michael Todd enough! I started watching him on YouTube about 4 years ago and I’ve followed him since.

He truly understands how to win in relationships and how this affects so many different areas of our lives. My boyfriend and I read his book and it has shifted our entire relationship for the better.

If you’re single, dating, married and want a new perspective that will transform your life!
